I am on Linux and use a tiling window manager (i3wm in my case). Have a look at such managers, they are great at optimizing how you use screen real estate.

An absolute banger.

It may not be a fully fledged app yet, but I think it works really well and I enjoy using it quite a bit.

I don't think it is dead, but the hype certainly seems to be over. It is important to realize that as long as the crypto value trend is strongly linked to value of other commodities, it is still being treated as an investment, rather than a currency. Increasing the places where crypto can be actually used to pay will allow for unlinking crypto from being an investment to a currency. I guess there most people are currently not interested in that as much, which I think is unfortunate.

Why did you go from Arch to Manjaro?

I have only gone full-linux for two years now. Before that I was on Mac for 10 years and before that Windows. I have had various machines that ran either Ubuntu or Debian that were not my main machine, but mostly backup or file servers.

I am generally happy with Ubuntu, although sometimes I feel like a more bleeding edge distro could be nice when I am looking for more up to date packages with the latest features. It is somewhat annoying having to go beyond the main package manager to install these newer packages, because installation instructions are not always available. E.g., a make file is available but there are no instructions on dependencies. At this point I am not/no longer looking to switch distels.

Never mind, I figured out that indeed this service just doesn't allow me to install apps. If someone knows about a free nextcloud plan that does allow you to install apps, please let me know.

This sounds incredibly dumb. The nice thing about the feddyverse is that you can receive content from other servers and comment on it imho. Very disappointing.

Nice article. There are a few othee text to speech command line apps on Linux, but they all sound like robots.

Hopefully, but for me personally, I don't see a lot of young players that I am really excited about (except maybe for Xavi Simons).
