Don't do that. Don't give me hope of righteous retribution for these parasites!

Look at the feet. I could only see the same direction when the image was not fully visible at once.

I really need to learn how to do that. I installed SuSE something on my laptop and selected that file system but couldn't find how to do the snapshot stuff. I'm sure I'm just dumb, but also exhausted, and mentally drained.

Beat me to it. This was the first thing that came to my mind, too.

Never wanted to have a gun in the house until this month. Now it's all I think about for the next large purchase I need to make. I'm not looking forward to the shopping experience.

Why do you think their focus has been on robotics and AI, even as the consumer bubble has all but burst? As soon as they don't have to worry about being "got" by their own security forces, billionaires will really show how much disdain and contempt they have for the masses and any attempt to rein them in will be lost forever.

Totally just my opinion, though.

They hoard wealth like my 5yo hoards candy. Stands to reason they would also act impulsively without thinking first like that same 5yo.

It's called accelerationism. It's the belief that a better society can only come about after a large disruptive event wipes out the current system. Those that survive (lots of billionaires with bunkers) will shape the new society in their eyes. It's real and it's terrifying. Like you I was mystified by the choices of the rich and powerful until I learned about this shit. Now it all makes sense...

Do you have a friend code we could put in if we do sign up for libro.fm? I don't mind getting people free stuff for recommending awesome products!

...and then Kamala got advice from Nancy Pelosi and centrists to "tone down the 'weird' rhetoric" and focus on courting moderate Republicans, and her campaign fucking tanked. Couple that with the DNC not allowing a single Palestinian supporter to speak during the convention, and it was ruined for all of us. She had all the momentum of a bulldozer, initially, and swindled it by putting faith in crotchety, old, dinosaurs who refuse to entertain progressive ideas as they usher in a new tRump era of misery that may never end.

First, I have no idea what some of these things are called or I think I know but I'm also second guessing myself the whole time. Also, I've never bought glass from anywhere but a local head-shop. For instance, this bong is almost 20yo. Please forgive me, if I apply incorrect nomenclature to any of the parts.

My bong's inner pipe, I think it's called a joint, broke several months back. I searched online shortly after but there were so many variables to consider that it kind of seemed overwhelming. I'm hoping there's someone within this community who has experience replacing a bongs' hardware. I have some measurements and images with the measurements included if anyone needs to see them. All of the measurements below are approximate mm -> inch conversions.

  • Depth from rubber grommet to lowest part of chamber: 115 mm, 4.5 in

  • Inner glass diameter (joint?): 14 mm, 0.5 in

  • Inner glass diameter (bowl?): 8 mm, 0.3 in

  • Diameter of lowest chamber (don't know if this is needed): 107 mm, 4.25 in

  • Diameter of bowl chamber (don't think this matters): 30 mm, 1.25 in

I would appreciate recommendations you all have for reputable glassware replacement sellers (from first-hand experience, preferably). In addition, I don't think the depth of the join needs to be that long, that's just the max depth. Thank you in advance for any suggestions, recommendations, or numbers to filter for when finding a replacement!

After a lot of planetary landings, I finally found one! Galaxy is Hilbert Dimension!

I used to have no issue with this, just like the person from this reddit post, where my music app would resume playing if it was the last app with media playing via Bluetooth and I did not actively close the app since the last time it played.

I am having this same issue, with this same phone, running (I assume) the same Android version. Ever since I got my Pixel 7, I've had no problems with Bluetooth resuming in my car. I'd listen to Deezer on my way to work, my way from work, and as long as it was the app of choice, it would start playback as soon as it connected back to my car. I received a few updates recently and now that doesn't happen. Now it just shows me what it was playing, but never starts it, and I have to go into the app, itself, just to "wake it up" to play.

Anyone seen similar? I've unchecked all things that I know of which could stop an app from running in the background, or with loss of connection to devices. It's not set to close at all for any reason, yet it almost seems like it does. No one has responded to the OP of the cross-post so I figured I'd extend this post to Lemmy and see if anyone has an answer or suggestion.

Soon as my phone is paid off I'm going to Graphene or some other alternative to Google's trash.
