@ptc075 @MysticKetchup A short (because I don't have the time for the full answer now) reason: Blood Moon is 'lose all abilities' not 'lose all abilities and cannot gain any abilities' (Think the cycle of enchantment creatures that do that for a single keyword and give your creatures that keyword)

@andrew @MysticKetchup I still think 30 pack boxes were a weird number to settle on. 24 packs would have been much more sensible. I'd advocate for them being only two stacks wide too, it makes product distribution for sealed much easier.

@mike With WotC happy to have currently in print cards that are so rare that they are hundreds of dollars (Oracle of the Alpha) I have trouble being 100% against proxies.

I think there are some limits to what should be done, and always ensure that proxies you use aren't likely to become fakes. (A line that is crossed when someone acquires the card thinking it is real)

@mike @MysticKetchup WotC probably considers it a win if 1% of the completely new players stick around. The returning players probably have a better %, but there is a lot less of them, but they may also spend money more freely while trying it out again.

@Lumun @UnPassive I'm not sure how feasible getting familiar with formats is these days. When I used to draft 4 times a week it wood uptake a month or two to feel really comfortable. Then you enjoy exploring things for another couple of months before adding one pack of the next set.

Now you'll just feel nearly comfortable and another set will be released. And your bankrupt because drafts are so much more expensive.

@TehPers @Evu MTGA is pretty bad as a rules reference. That "create" is there once is the important thing.

@Evu @sambeastie yes prison is an established archtype that is only welcome at the highest power levels. I'd concede every game that appeared to have a.prison deck in it.
