You have to give it to JetBrains that they have a good track record of utilizing some technology in exactly the right way to be useful and not really get in the way. Writing prompts for an AI chatbot to generate code is BS (kills creativity, creates bad and unmaintainable code that's possibly even encumbered by licenses). But simply assisting you with completing the line you already have in your head mostly anyway...? Sure!

Not a fan of the #AI hype at all, but #RustRover new full line code completion feature is impressive
@mint I really don't have much love for landlords, but them and huge CEO fucktwits fighting against each other is definitely an "oh, nice"

Das ist nicht nur für OSS unerlässlich, sondern für alle Software. Und hier kommt dann COAS ins Spiel: Was bei proprietärer Software nur schwierig wäre, ist bei offener Software möglich, nämlich unabhängige Analysen.
