I missed that phase because I was using Netscape.

I own a lifted hatchback with gravel tires that I occasionally take down timber trails to camp or shoot. That's maybe why I understood what you meant. But the way it came across, it just sounded like you need to go hiking more :P

MOST humans are not gonna ever be vegan/vegetarian unless forced.

Maybe. What about you, though?

Also this is a healthy maintence regime. In my experience most cyclists do nothing on that list except swapping flat tubes and their bikes still ride just fine, if not merely sub-optimally.

Like a mechanical version of hiking

I can't wait to describe driving this way to a friend so that we can both share in the laughter I'm enjoying right now.

My brother in christ, the reason we got this spread out in the first place was a robust national network of passenger rail lines.

Vegan here. Sticking to the two questions you asked before you got lost in scope creep and logical fallacy: I get my food from the supermarket, mostly. And it scales way better than animal ag because farming plants requires radically less resources per calorie than farming animals.

Just like most other positive decisions in the world, it's not revolutionary on it's own. Nor is it aiming to be, nor does it need to be.

Traveling across the entirety of the US by car in the middle of winter sounds fucking miserable. That's what trains are for.

My local bike coop is full of very dependable, freshly tuned bikes that average around $150, built with love and care by expiriend mechanics. If you have issues with your bike, those same mechanics will guide you through the process of fixing it and give you access to every tool you could possibly need to do so, all for free or suggested donation.

You ever see a lewd that gets you realize you have a specific, reliable turn-on? This image did that to me, twice.

I don't think any of the proxies or frontends have a good way around it yet, and google is clearly using it as a way to fuck with said frontends. Best practice suggestion: Every time you get cockblocked by something like this, you must send at least one friendly DM or message to the content creator suggesting they at least put a second copy of their content on a decentralized platform.

My entire life I've used either Turbotax or HRBlock to file my own taxes as I've only had to deal with 1099s and W-2s, but this year I finally sold off some of the bitcoin I've been accumulating and I do not trust those services to handle capital gains correctly. I've already got my books mostly in order, I'm just looking for a CPA who I can sit down with in person and trust to minimize my expenses while making sure I do all due diligence, without over-charging me merely "because it's crypto". Bonus point if you can recommend someone you've used for this exact purpose. Thank you!
