That makes sense. I probably should have changed my post title from the original TikTok title. Of course, TikTok users need some kind of dopamine hit within five seconds or they'll just swipe away to the next video. So, waiting 4 seconds for a floaty crocodile is kind of an ask for them.
When I made my gif of this, I cut out the first 1.3 seconds so it would loop better. For us, it's effectively not a wait.

If I broke a rule, I apologize, but I'd like to know what I did. Yesterday, I posted a user-generated map of ICE agent sightings and Lemmy.world's automod immediately deleted the post and banned me from the entire site. I have no idea why that post, above all my other interactions with !resist@fedia.io, warranted a sitewide ban. Is it because I changed the title to blame a vile subreddit when the map went down? I really hope it isn't partisan bias.
