It depends on why you are using FOSS now?

For me its a principle choice of freedom and privacy since 1998, so I cope with the downsites on the desktop as much I can.

I am not a big fan of dual boot. If you only have one computer I would stick to the current setup you have now.

I try to run Wayland if possible, otherwise I fall back to good ole X.

I run Debian for all my homelab servers: stable, fast, (community) support, and secure.
