Buy the software. I tried the crack for a while at first too, but then I realized the problems I was encountering were directly related to the crack. (This is a number of releases ago) Back in the day they would ship you the DVR to install. Now I think steam is the only way.

I’ve a RealDebrid subscription and stream from their servers to my kodi. Not just Amazon, all the services. $3/month, give or take. Might take a few hours/days for something to pop up, but I often don’t realize days that shows are “airing” or released, so I’m pleasantly surprised when it pops up as available.
These guys are going to make a killing when they’re bought by Amazon and FedEx and UPS etc after the war.

I always have to wonder if back doors are already built-in to be exploited or whether the NSA has a burden of proof to establish why it needs access like this. But what troubles me more is if this creeps beyond the US’ borders and the 5-7-14-20+ Eyes countries will follow suit (or have already implemented their own versions)?

Iirc for the tv remote to work all you need to do is make sure your CEC options are correct in settings. I use an app on my phone - easier to type searches in.
