I mean he's dropping a lot of hints for claiming back russian empire. Like for example here http://en.kremlin.ru/events/president/news/68606

You can get pretty good deals under 500, at least here in Europe ($ to € relatively close).

A local shop here for example has some fully serviced and functional, partially modernized, 90s mountain bikes between 200 to 400 eur. And that's with a trend tax, since those are getting somewhat popular nowadays for how great commuters they make

Asshole design is asshole design. They're essentially saying here that they'll sell your data whatever you choose, opting out is not an option.

Obviously there's easy ways to bypass this but it's not an excuse for them

Edit: also, their "cookie (and data sharing ) policy":

Clicking on "accept cookies" you're agreeing WAY more than implied

Think I've seen this twice now in the past couple years, but yeah it's likely not compliant with the cookie law in EU

Lol the title of the article suggests that Seagate is involved in the scam, though it's scammers selling used drives as new

A thief or thieves managed to steal approximately 100,000 eggs from a truck parked in Pennsylvania, according to a state police report.

The report filed by the Chambersburg Patrol Unit (pdf) says the eggs were stolen out of a distribution trailer shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday.

The theft occurred at Pete and Gerry’s Organic Eggs in Greencastle, Penn., the report says.

I honestly don't know what's going on there. The sole mod and contributor of the community keeps posting low quality shit purely to bash on Linux and people kept calling him out in the posts and getting banned from the comm for that.

Now I noticed the same mod has just locked comments on all posts to prevent having to ban anyone commenting on their memes

About to start 2 hours drive to home after spending Christmas with the family from my wife's side. I'm tired and full of food

~50 km away another (same type) bike for comparison

And small earlier type (~1936)

Hey all, do we have any suspension nerds here?

I have some annoying troubles with the rear suspension on my 2017 Focus Vice trail bike. The shock is Rockshox deluxe select R with max tokens inside and 250psi air pressure (~20% sag)

Long story short, I keep bottoming out the rear suspension regularly on jumps and drops way easier than I'm comfortable with, but with the amount of pressure in the shock the ride starts feeling pretty harsh as well

So what I've thought as options, but might need some more validation:

  • bigger bike and/or bike with more progressive suspension curve

Eh, don't really want to replace bike I otherwise love

  • different shock?

Not sure what I would look there tbh, also gets pricy but not as bad as a whole new bike

  • messing with the shock tune

The shock doesn't have externally adjustable high/low speed compression, but perhaps could adjust the shim stack? This is completely alien stuff for me so some ideas/advice would be appreciated

  • there's a megneg air can upgrade kit available for the shock

This increases the negative volume giving more mid-strike support, plushier initial feeling and more bottom out force using less tokens as claimed by rockshox. This upgrade kit is not terribly expensive, but is it worth if I'd better be going with a new shock anyways?
