Surrenders to the US, or to the demands of Canadian billionaires and corporations? We have our own oligarch and monopolist issues, they're just slightly quieter about it. At least we have fewer religious nutbars, but they do try.

CEOs gotta CEO. I don't necessarily trust the solution just by virtue of the source type. Anyone with some real world knowledge have an analysis of the validity of the solution?

Doesn't mean it doesn't have a right wing bias and agenda, though. I haven't read thd Star in decades, so I don't know. Just pointing out the (probably) painfully obvious (because I have a tendency to do that).

Try using the infrared settings if you have them. You can potentially use it to photograph them through the masks and glasses.

That's an excellent point. Where the heck do people mingle nowadays?

Who actually wrote this bill? Was this some lobby/thinktank/special interest group that fed it through to the government? I'm getting tired of not knowing who's behind all this crap, and it keeps having a similar smell.

I must be missing something here. Can we not just use the web version of the bank interface insteadvof an app? It still works for my banking, and I don't even have the app. I just have to put my browser into desktop mode.

If entry-level jobs disappear, exactly how are future human roles supposed to get filled? Where will new blood come from for the intermediate and senior roles if no one can get in the damned door?

technically, the Canadian dipthong is A as in father into U as in put, while the American one is A as in Dad into the E in the. To an American, it sounds closer to oo because of that, but oo is too rounded and tongue too raised. (I'd use the phonetic alphabet for more precision, but I don't have it installed on this phone)

Are those Lemmy communities? I'm having trouble finding them through my Lemmy client.

I didn't see it anywhere in the article, and I'm not able to do a search right now. Can someone explain to me exactly what Jordan's Principle is?
