What impact would reversing the Earth's rotation have? in c/nostupidquestions@lemmy.world

You forgot about air. If the planet suddenly rotates in the other direction, it would level everything, and the probably turn the planet into a molten marble from the friction.

Seeing how the gauge it came from has been banned, I would say it was a design flaw of the gauge that caused the accident.
