I also do this. But I do not necessarily think it as a bad thing.

I do not need to finish the book in one sitting, it's fine to wander, I usually just just went on a tangent on a relevant topic though. Reading for an hour is fine, as is a 5 minute session.

Maybe immersing myself reading books just not that fun for me. But I can sit for hours studying music even without touching my instruments, just reading the chart and analysing the harmony and what not. I think reading like any other skill, needs training and I just haven't give it enough time.

I'm a late millennial, and like it or not I'm used to being able to access relevant context and information with just a click (like Wiki).

My notification pops-up today and I watched ep 1. I do not watch any recap nor any review.

I stopped halfway through and thought "Why did I hype for this again ?" Gotta need a rewatch of season 1 since I genuinely didn't find anything appealing from that first episode.

I'm also on this camp. I get the significance, but I think I just didn't resonate with what they wrote, and the "old" production.

Here and there I found a great version someone else performed and was surprised to find it's a Beatles song, then I heard the OG and went "yup, still not for me".

Nintendo games, by comparison, are worth more than the slop that Ubisoft craps out

Agree, I grew up with Playstation up until the ps3. I have never owned a Nintendo console my whole life and the only Mario games I've tried is the O.G back then, but it's clear to me that Nintendo put better effort into every bit of design of their IP release.

I know the Jazz scene would go nuts over a "Mario Kart Lick", and I never played Mario Kart even once.

The only thing stopping me from owning their console is the lack of regional pricing.

Is BCAA different from normal protein powder?
Also, why does it taste better for you?

I just searched for what cryophilic means, it didn't mean what I think it means. I thought it was ice cube lol

Intro skipping works pretty well once you set it up and give it time to scan.

Iirc the feature used to be an add-on with module and I read here somewhere it now baked in out of the box, is that the case ?

You may wind up transcoding even if you think you really shouldn't have to

I thought there's an edge case somewhere but from your explanation I don't think I need transcoding for video. Not that I don't want it.

My NAS is old, like, i3 2100 old. So I just make sure the media can be played directly on my 2 client locally, so I don't know how much HW transcode improve the performance but if it's usable, that's a nice bonus. Maybe if I ever get a 4K display but that's a problem for future me.

I spent a lot of time getting the metadata right in Plex

Pretty much yeah, I really don't wanna mess with the music library

Thanks for the answer.

I think I'll give it a try then.

Is there any consensus which client is better for desktop and android ?

Thank you.
