For a time, at least.

I woke up during my colonoscopy. I distinctly remember asking for more anesthesia, and them telling me I already had the max.

There are 100% people with a gene that makes them metabolize anesthesia super rapidly, myself included. It's linked to the gene for red hair, but red hair isn't a requirement (I have it and I'm not a redhead, although my mom is).

I've 100% woken up during surgeries I should not have been conscious for, because the anesthesiologist didn't believe me. Those include a pediatric colonoscopy, surgery to set a broken arm, my TEE (I was conscious, but in twilight sleep. Took 3 vials of versed and I still remember it), and my septoplasty.

And it's not just general anesthesia either. It takes a fuck load of local anesthesia for me to feel it. My last filling they had to give me so much it paralyzed half my face for a while. Also, I wish my urologist had believed me when I said I wasn't numb for my vasectomy.

Claiming there will be no withdrawal symptoms when taking it properly is factually incorrect.

Just because you didn't experience them doesn't mean others won't. They might not be at the level of meth withdrawals, but they definitely exist.

He does, because he sees the world as a zero sum game. For him to prosper, others have to suffer.

That would require me being able to find anything in my rats nest of an office.

He did assault her. Assault is the threat of harm. He should be charged with it.

Lol, no. The US won't even comply with it's own.

Pure sugar is a preservative because it will dehydrate anything that tries to grow on it.

I mean, stuff will grow in water with salt in it too.

It makes me wonder why the founding fathers left that out.

I know a large reason we don't have a direct democracy is because they didn't trust the general population to not fall victim to a tyrant (which is super ironic).

I'm curious if the system was intentionally designed so that the only way the people can remove someone was through violence, or if they thought 2A would prevent the need.

Bone char isn't super high carbon, so it's possible that either the calcium phosphate or calcium carbonate is playing a roll.

But honestly, you're probably not getting very much of it mixed in from primitive smelting or forging methods.
