ReVanced resurrected Sync for Reddit for me, maybe I should check out what ReVanced does for YouTube.

I used revanced on sync for Reddit to keep it alive past it's death date, though I'm much more engaged with Lemmy since Sync released for it too.
What makes the revanced version of YouTube better to you? Maybe I should check it out.
That's a fair point, maybe I should look into using newpipe and use what was my monthly payment as a direct donation to my favorite creators instead. Thanks for the informative reply!

Actually I've had YouTube premium for a few years now and I love it! I use YouTube a lot, but I also then get YouTube Music which I also use A LOT because it's actually a really good music service.
Music plus ad free YouTube? Video/music background playing? All worth the money to me, and I'm helping keep a service I enjoy alive as YouTube still isn't profitable. Which also slows enshitification of another product I enjoy.

Having all the live versions of some songs is the best part for me. I love live recordings.
