Odds are if you are dirt poor Republican you are much more likely to be shuffled into a sweatshop to sew socks than take advantage of anything that's going on here.

Cheap socks imported from China are 148% more expensive, you're still nowhere near having the capital to own a single thing in your life, the rich are only going to get richer, and those socks ain't going to make themselves

Hey now! Ubisoft is still enabling your desire to become a pirate! Just ... In a different way than they wanted.

Hahah, so him personally bailing out Twitter with a cash infusion would kill Tesla in the process?

What a world.

Look, it all looked great on paper years ago when Zenimax Media gave them an evaluation report on the company that was so overvalued it was lawsuit-worthy.

No take backs!

Personal conspiracy theory time:

The only reason they are going to New Vegas for season 2, is to lay down a whole bunch of Bethesda-fied revisionist history about the whole Nevada area.

They would want to torch the playing field, and make creating a New Vegas 2 that is worth a damn impossible, in anticipation of the possibility Microsoft might put Obsidian on Fallout too, after Outer Worlds 2.

After the studio closures Microsoft just did? Todd is probably, and absolutely justifiably, scared shitless with Obsidian and MGM Amazon's 'friendly' competition.

And you know what? That would be fine.

If they market it as a side experiment, a AA game, priced at $40.

But no, they marketed it as Star Citizen 2.

Reason #150 on why Fallout New Vegas is the best Fallout:

Bethesda despises it so much that it'll never get an update, remaster, or get repacked into an anniversary edition.

No Todds, No Masters

My hopes for DLC (lemmy.world)
submitted 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago) by deeves@lemmy.world to c/baldurs_gate_3@lemmy.world

So with the success of Baldur's Gate 3 DLC is pretty much inevitable. Here is my unsolicited fantasy scenario for what that would look like 🙏

Spring, summer, and fall:

An origins pack that would have one pre-made character and one custom character origin like The Dark Urge. The premade would have a new meaty questline and can double as a new companion when not selected of course, and even if you don't buy the DLC the base game's map will still have new locations related to those questlines added with a free update. And there would be a slew of new cosmetics for character creation themed around the new custom character origin.

Suggested retail price: $9.99.

November - December:

A big ol' 30-hour-long proper expansion with the same quality as Witcher 3: Blood and Wine.

Suggested retail price: $24.99.

18 new origins and three expansions or bust!
