That's not an option for a lot of countries that are going cashless. In Netherlands (we have our own payment service) a lot of merchants are cashless.

If EU really wants to hurt the US economy, then they need to start taxing/fining US tech service like Whatsapp, Netflix, Youtube, AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc.

I'm going to state an unpopular opinion. Bluesky should have ads, not a personalized ads that track users, but just simple ones at the very top of the feed. Consumers today are too addicted to free services, and companies need to be financially independent so that they can support a quality product.

A good way to stop companies from abusing H1B is to make the visa portable with the worker for a set number of years. If the company is underpaying/overworking them, the worker on H1B can just skip town to another company without fear or deportation. This makes it not worth while for corporations to hire H1B when it costs money and time.

For its part, Tesla has been trying to boost its image with the help of President Trump. On Monday, the president took to the South Lawn of the White House to promote Tesla's cars, apparently buying one despite having campaigned on an explicitly anti-electric vehicle platform.

Somehow, I don't think MAGA cult will buy electric vehicles in quantities needed to offset even a fraction of people who used to buy Tesla.

Probably shouldn't focus on the short term stock movements.

If the Fed turns on the money printer, the stock prices will go up.

I would point to prices of housing and groceries, because that will not go down if the Fed turns on the money printer.

Still too many Tesla is sold in the EU.

I expect a bump in cars sold in the next few months as the new Model Y Juniper starts getting produced. You'll know exactly who bought a Tesla in 2025.

Chinese ambition of Taiwan has very little to do with semiconductor industry and mostly to do with their nationalism/legitimacy of CCP.
