Good thing iDEAL payment system is part of EU payment initiative and has some of the lowest fees you'll see in the world. Grocery stores for example will refuse Credit Cards from Visa and Mastercard, but they'll take iDEAL payment in the Netherlands. Netherlands is not the United States.

And I know Germany won't be able to resist cheaper gas.

Highly contentious question, but Germany should bring conscription for everyone (including women) with the option of doing volunteer/civil service.

iDEAL has been acquired by WERO which is an EU initiative for pan-European payment system. Wero is being rolled out by banks in France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxemburg.

That's not an option for a lot of countries that are going cashless. In Netherlands (we have our own payment service) a lot of merchants are cashless.

If EU really wants to hurt the US economy, then they need to start taxing/fining US tech service like Whatsapp, Netflix, Youtube, AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc.

There's already an autonomous metro.

A lot of the cheaper new cars that working people rely on like Chevy Trax, comes from abroad.

I'm going to state an unpopular opinion. Bluesky should have ads, not a personalized ads that track users, but just simple ones at the very top of the feed. Consumers today are too addicted to free services, and companies need to be financially independent so that they can support a quality product.

A good way to stop companies from abusing H1B is to make the visa portable with the worker for a set number of years. If the company is underpaying/overworking them, the worker on H1B can just skip town to another company without fear or deportation. This makes it not worth while for corporations to hire H1B when it costs money and time.

For its part, Tesla has been trying to boost its image with the help of President Trump. On Monday, the president took to the South Lawn of the White House to promote Tesla's cars, apparently buying one despite having campaigned on an explicitly anti-electric vehicle platform.

Somehow, I don't think MAGA cult will buy electric vehicles in quantities needed to offset even a fraction of people who used to buy Tesla.
