Probably start with energy security for EU. I see that as the biggest vulnerability, and the greatest return on public investment.

Wind, solar, nuclear, energy storage, heat pumps, electric vehicles, etc. Anything to reduce import of foreign hydrocarbons that's vulnerable to supply shock like what we witnessed after Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Might not be a bad idea to collaborate with China, while also not being dependent on them.

Go read what Russians have said about hybrid warfare stretching back 20 years. Anything to destabilize perceived enemies are seen as legitimate.

Apple is cooked. Not only are they going to get decimated in China, but they are going to see demand destruction in the US due to tariffs. And neither Trump nor Xi cares about Apple.

All electronics are made in Asia. So there will be no higher prices for consumers in the EU.

US consumers will get hammered with anywhere from 25% to 55% price increase in electronics.

It's hard to find any electronics that is EU, or for that matter non-Asian. The entire electronic supply chain is in Asia centered around China, so they will have a competitive edge.

Good thing iDEAL payment system is part of EU payment initiative and has some of the lowest fees you'll see in the world. Grocery stores for example will refuse Credit Cards from Visa and Mastercard, but they'll take iDEAL payment in the Netherlands. Netherlands is not the United States.

And I know Germany won't be able to resist cheaper gas.

Highly contentious question, but Germany should bring conscription for everyone (including women) with the option of doing volunteer/civil service.
