@verstra I use Jetbrains for pretty much anything except C++, their editors are the best. I use it for PHP, Go, Java/Kotlin, C#, databases, Typescript and I'm probably missing something.

@python I mean, it's already an abomination, I can at least write a clean code.

Anyone knows of a good software for managing files for 3D printing?

Criteria:

- open source
- web based
- self-hostable
- modern
- storing 3mf, stl, obj and gcode/bgcode files

Nice to have:

- automatic slicing of 3MF files
- being able to send it to my printer (Bambu)
- previews

@4lan Nice! Though not my cup of tea, I prefer open source. Where can you get the controllers for $30? Might get some spare ones.

@dual_sport_dork Ah, good old vendor lock-in.

@Kolanaki Take a look at https://github.com/SiloCityLabs/Cuttlephone - it's an OpenSCAD parametric design where you "just" need to measure your phone correctly and then render and print it. That's how I did mine. It has support for hard cases (PLA, PETG and so on), soft cases (TPU), Junglecat controller and Switch JoyCons.

@NoneYa I loved it as well, though it was definitely a very tight fit with the Note 20 Ultra. Sadly it broke after ~3 months and I never got a replacement.

@dual_sport_dork Should still work with some custom 3D printed adapter, shouldn't it? But it definitely looks harder to create the adapter than a case.

The #Razer #Junglecat is a truly great smartphone controller that has one big flaw - it supports 3 or 4 phones.

Luckily, #3dprinting (and #openscad) to the rescue!

Lo and behold, #RazerJunglecat on my #GalaxyS23Ultra!
