You can do brandy in it but we've usually gone boozeless. My great aunty used to make it and it was amazing for the kiddos but she literally took the recipe to her grave.

I tried making this today as a test but I must have had too much cornflour because it was so thick it was like custard jelly.

Anyone got a rock solid white sauce recipe for Christmas pudding?

It's a little late for that, I just arrived after my 3.5 hour drive here. Out of curiosity I did flip the coin before I left and it said don't go.

Sitting here contemplating flipping a coin as to whether I'll go for an overnight road trip border adventure but realised I need to get out of this apartment so the answer is already Go.

One of the engines not so much because I know planes are designed to handle losing an engine. Thinking about a wing falling off? Yeah, especially if I'm sat over a wing by a window I'll just look at it wobbling and think "what if this is the number of wobbles it takes to come off?", especially on long OS flights over the ocean.. but I try to distract myself from thinking about it for too long.
