Thank, you! I love getting recommendations too. I checked them both out and those were great suggestions! I'll be adding them to my wishlist.

Make sure to check out the album! It’s equally as good
It entirely depends where you live. You can pay certain organizations for blanket rights to most songs and it’s extremely expensive.
Some options if you still want to broadcast are:
- Use royalty free music/public domain
- Go to Bandcamp/YouTube/Soundcloud and ask smaller artists permission to play their music on your station
- Ask around your local scene and see if artists around your area give you permission to play their music.
- Roll the dice and hope for obscurity to keep you safe
Currently I opted to put everything behind a password and only use it for myself. Once I’m more confident on building solid programming, I might look into starting a station for local and small artists with their permission.
Thanks for sharing. I wanted something like this
Yeah, I honestly don't like the downvote button for that reason. I don't care about my post getting hated, I'd just like to know why.
I did somehow. Thanks for the heads up, it’s fixed now
Hey, sorry that happened and for the late reply, but I really liked it! I hadn't heard any of the songs listed before.
Thanks for subbing! I really just like sharing music I find. I'll be making more posts off and on. I take breaks from social media every now and then.
Totally agree. I don't have the energy to fight a battle on his behalf, so I put it out there to avoid it. I found it to be helpful for people starting out and wanted to share it.
