If anyone is going to do the unexpected, it will be Pedro.

I think Enea would be a great choice for Aprilia. Two Italian, passionate, pretty zany riders. It would be fun days for the team and I bet they would spur each other on to improve.

Another great weekend! As well as the racing, I'm enjoying two things this season: how Bez has matured so much over the last 2 years, and Marc interacting with the Italian riders. MotoGP is a fun place now days, good escapism from the real world 😊 All that swearing in the podium room though, OMG! Sounded like Morse code.🤣

That was so hilarious when the commentator said 'Marc is battling the booze' in the race. Of course he meant Marc was battling the boos- the shouts of the crowd. Not the booze as in alcohol! Like in F1 when David Coulthard said Oscar Piastri had a drinking problem. Of course he meant with the drinking bottle straw in the race, again, not alcohol! 🤣

That was real karma for Franco wasn't it- screwed up one long lap so had to do another!🤭 Apparently Maverick was really calm about it afterwards. Don't think I would have been! I just watched a video of Uccio laughing about Franco's antics, honestly! 🙄

Crazy start to the sprint! For various reasons.

I think Miguel will be out unfortunately. He seems to have such bad luck and get injured all the time so he can't prove himself 😣Maybe he'll be part time test rider, part time dentist?

I never usually like to see one rider dominating like this but maybe I've changed. I want Marc to win as much as he can before he retires. I want to see how much he can achieve and how high he can go. I'm not sure how many years of riding he's got left, maybe 3 or 4? I doubt he'll ride for as long as Rossi did. In 10 years, people will look back and say 'remember Marc Marquez? Wish I'd been watching back then.' So I feel lucky I'm witnessing this era.

I used to get bored when one rider dominated, but after all that MM has been through in the last few years, I'm glad to see him so happy again 😎

I will see the highlights tomorrow, good old ITV4 😊

That was a pleasant surprise wasn't it!

Lots of argy bargy off the line, that was fun. A nice lot of battles today👍

Yes, I was just thinking of Maverick's past behaviour and even Zarco. They left teams in strange circumstances, people said 'their careers are ruined' but they got new jobs. So I'm thinking Jorge will be okay and it'll all calm down. Or I'm just too optimistic! lol. I read that Toprak is going to Pramac in 2026, I don't know who he'll replace though🤔

In case British viewers didn't know, you can watch the races live on the Quest channel from 10.30am to 3pm on Sunday 25th May. I can't wait! (the sprint is still being shown one hour later on Saturday 24th May)

What do you think of these new rules? This is the clearest explanation I could find with Mike Webb's comments. I think both rules are good: after Marc's shenanigans at COTA they needed a clear rule. And riders who are injured for a long time need some practice before they race again, as Jorge Martin's injuries show. Any other views on these rule changes?

I hope I'm posting this right?

Gosh, hold on tight everyone if Aleix is a wildcard 😅My favourite rider!
