threatening star wars to have substance

i disagree that u cant steal jokes, and not for copyright reasons. if you do mean 'public domain' in the copyright sense; i dont think copyright system should be what gets to define what can and cant be shared especially in victimless situation that is digital stuff.

i disagree in like an ethical view in general, people can steal jokes. this post i made is somewhat transformative, turning a dialogue joke into an image format. but i'd still credit the person i got the idea from, and saying i 'stole it' is funnier to say than credit x (in the current context of a meme at a meme-centric community). in a public-ish place like this, crediting could lead to people even finding out about the channel, which is great.

plus as someone who tries to keep credits intact for memes i download, it can really be fun re-discovering them, i.e. if its a tweet meme i can find the account for similar stuff, but usually its tumblr lol

private jets are real too... i dont get what u mean

Yea this one was made in Blender. I use Blender for most of my digital art, including 2d and video editing bc i been using it for so long, its faster for me to do that in blender's 3d editor (i dont mean its separate video or grease pencil for 2d, those are nice but 3d ones are easier for me :p)

My personal best art

hmm so i used that term here to mean 'capitalistically successful (in a bad way) girl boss'. i suppose me just using 'girl boss' to mean that might be presumptuous on my part. my bad

thats fair, im insecure about crossposting tbh. also by 'template works here' i meant for the meme. since the template doesnt convey streaming or muscle twitching

its a pun. it assume a basic twitch streamer streams only twitching (of muscles). so someone streaming knuckle cracking a like twitching and cracking, double the fun

That is a fair point. To me its horrible because I can no longer even share library with someone who is nearby but travels a lot. Not to mention, I dont accept that games I own cant be shared with people who arent nearby geographically. But its even more absurd that steam's whatever system forbids even people who arent regularly nearby, its not just me, I've heard that from multiple people.

It may be better for certain cases as you said. But there is no doubt in my mind that the goal was, at least partially, to stop people from sharing games in general. And I dont support that. I should be able to send my game to someone if I purchased it, and steam locking you from playing that game should be more than enough restriction in sharing.

You are fair to disagree, there are multiple points you can say about my critiques here. Like steam doing this to subsidize the cost of hosting games and downloads. But for me, this family sharing change and me not being able to share with someone bc they travel was enough to push me over the fence of quitting steam. So to me, the family sharing change is a huge deal.

they cant fathom the silly

as a linux gamer, i cant deny the good valve has done for linux gaming. but to me that doesnt excuse steam as a monopoly, the gambling, valve's uncaring responses to steam scams and such. minor issues also irritate me, like their removal of library sharing (screw the new family bs they added), bs drm locks that dont let me play games without launching the app. i intend to stop using steam soon, for many reasons it sucks and i feel horrible paying them anything. and thats just me im not here arguing others should do that, do what u think is best for u. i find wine good enough for my games and i dont do online gaming so im fit for quitting steam

pretending that biology/science exists without the social constructs or biases is a fool's errand. sex is as much of a real thing as the concept of species, its a generalized idea of something that cant be easily divided or distinguished based on really anything. its made to fit the social construct we already had, science didnt sprung out in an unbiased form and has not grown out of it. the distinction is flawed and done sometimes for ease and sanity; but a lot of times because of bias
