Okay I was being hyperbolic. The vast majority of Lemmy is links.

The linked content itself drives engagement.

The point of posting it on Lemmy is to surface interesting content via community votes and foster discussion.

That's like, all of Lemmy. What are you expecting?

I don't particularly like installing any extensions that aren't absolutely necessary but thank you.

Could you tell me what URL you are using? I used https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=UCrjKdwxaQMSV_NDywgKXVmw which is the channel in the screenshot but it's throwing errors, as is w3 feed validator.

That fixed it, thanks.

I've been to some that try to upsell you during the checkout process. Big pop up comes up "Add x to your order for $y.99!" Shut the fuck up!

No, you stop doing iOS.

I mean you just need to audit the URL before going there.

There was a food truck I went to one time that required you to download some app to look at their menu and order your food. They refused to accept a credit card or cash. I walked. So fucking stupid. I don't know why people allow shit like that to exist.

Google don't want people to know of yet another use case for JXL.

Why's that?

For what it's worth, I am an idiot when it comes to this sort of thing and probably did something wrong. But I now just have a perpetual loading symbol and can't click on anything at all.
