So, Russia creates draconian anti dissent law, charges dissenters with it and because of thelat charge they cannot become Canadian. Does that mean she can apply for asylum?
Tosti
Exactly, regardless of the naysayers this hits the nail on the head. And Ukranians knew this very well. All former Soviet states know this as seen by their response.
It will be interesting to know if the cables for these things can handle the load. On an individual level probable, but on larger scale?
Yeah, I got banned from world news for calling out the tankie playbook.
Post removal reason: red scare
Ban reason: McCartyism.
These glide kits essentially turn dumb bombs into smart ones. The prevailing military doctrine in the West has been that precession Trumps force every time. Hence these kits.
Russians followed suit in their usual way, with abysmal target accuracies. But when combined with enough boom, close enough will suffice.
Much easier to let the west handle this and keep your hands clean not pulling the irk of local extremist. Then you can later blame the west for colonialism and violence against the locals.
Mooi, net zoals het begon dooft het ook weer uit.
Nah they mark it as misinformation, but the stories are way to common to be nonsense. And in a war zone it is difficult to corroborate or properly investigate. This allows Russia to keep denying the accusations and continue the path they are on. As long as you keep a wide view on the world, and read from many sources (not just 2 western echo-puts of alt right trolls) you will be pretty well informed.
Also always keep in mind that "we" tend to look at the world through a very western lens. There are a lot of Nasty people at the top of our countries too.
Usually lemmy ml accounts but they might be hexbear. They have names like stalin_blablabla and xXxMaoxXx etc. But look at the modlog for worldnews on ML, they actively supress anything critical of gaza and Russia as "red scare", trivializing genocide, etc. its pretty blatant.
Reverse engineering here we come. Probably interesting to see what components are being used and who is supplying them.
And pay with what? Yuan, ruble, ruppee, real? As long as there are no large trade inbalances it's fine.
