AI generated probably.

Atomic Habits.

As someone who is likely on the spectrum, it was like someone gifted me a user guide for life where other self-help books have either leaned a lot on the emotions of things or tried to cram all sorts of philosophy down my throat.

Lot's of common sense ideas around how to turn what, where, and who you want to be into actually achievable goals and genuinely helped me figure out who I want to be for myself and not for other people.

I wouldn't say it has any groundbreaking or radical ideas in it, but the structure and presentation of the simple ideas really helped me work out some life things for myself.

The Carthaginian's thought I was daft to build a Navy, but I built it all the same just to show 'em... It sank in a storm.

So I built a second one... That sank in a storm.

So I built a third one... That got lost, was militarily defeated, and then sank in a storm, but the fourth one was victorious!

The one thing I don't get about these Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists is why they worry about toilets so much.

It's silly even historically.

We have had societies where all communal toilets were unisex without feminism (Greek, Roman), we've had societies with gender segregated toilets without feminism (Victorian Era), we've had societies with gender segregated toilets (today), so why are unisex toilets incompatible with feminism?

Honestly it makes no sense to me other than they're just panicking about penises.

Yep, See the Behind The Bastards episodes about Effective Altruists, Sam Altman, and the Zizians.

They literally think that by doing everything possible to bring about superhuman general intelligence, the new AI god will fix all of our problems and save more lives in the future than it's worth spending money on other programs to save lives right now.

It's olympic-level mental gymnastics but some are throwing serious capital behind it.

Yeah they have a legitimate case for defending the use of the symbol so aggressively and the best way to avoid is to use the green and white variant that is used on pretty much every first-aid kit sold.

Still has the desired effect for both parties.

Or philosophers and philosophy.

Damn philosophers, they ruined philosophy!

This is some top quality WallacePosting

This has been shining in my eyes for the last 10 minutes whilst the bus driver takes a break.

This isn't your mother's cottage pie, this is an epic two and a half hour culinary quest to conjure the most tastiest comfort humanity has discovered so far.

The pie is layered with beef or veggie mince, then crispy onions soaked with garlic, tomato, and chilli puree, butter soaked mixed vegetables, slathered in a vegetable and red wine gravy, and topped with a cheesy and creamy smooth potato and carrot mash.

My aunt and uncle now lie in a food coma whilst I have shed a single solitary manly tear as I fear this might be my peak, though I will never stop climbing to greater heights of taste!

Title picture shows a large beef mince portion for myself and my uncle. The picture in the body text below shows a small meat-free portion for my aunt.
