Only for the middle class. The poor have deductions/credits that offset most taxes. While the rich have beneficial tax rates for their main source of income (i.e. captial tax rates), caps on some taxes (i.e. incomes above $176k no longer pay any social security taxes), and the old fashion it just so much easier to cheat on taxes when you rich.
This is all on purpose. Trump is running Hitler’s playbook to seize power. He’s destroying the gov on purpose, to force some kind of crisis. Once the “crisis” comes, Congressional Republicans will give Trump “emergency powers” which he will use to get rid of any opposition.
Supporting a Nazi is generally viewed as wrong also
Maybe a state like NY votes blue in state wide elections, but they vote in a lot of Republicans for the House in districts outside if NYC
