In the wake of the Elon Nazi salute, the internet was swarmed by images of Democrats also "doing a Nazi salute" which were all just stills of them waving at people and captured at a specific frame that could make it look like a Nazi salute.

But on video, there's no denying what these are. And his awkward fucking little pause like "Yeah you see what I just did here, that's right, I'm on your side, wink wink".

If you happen to be in the US, better to make those sorts of purchases now before prices go up under tariffs.

I started watching TNG just recently and am nearly done with season 2. Season 1 is not nearly as bad as the internet led me to believe, and honestly I kinda miss some things from it a little bit.

I think it's more the idea that nonviolence isn't saving them. You can swear off violence, Israel will kill you and your family anyways.

Governments can and have just branded people and organizations as terrorists to justify conflict. That is typically why third-world countries like Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq, etc. have been so heavily devastated by the west. Stopping "Nazi terrorists" is why Russia is invading Ukraine right now as well.

Be careful of when a country's media starts throwing out the label "terrorist regime" to describe countries that would be convenient to invade. "Terrorism" is just as much made by fear, instilled by a country's media, as it is the practice of creating fear directly.

Could just be a way of saying, like, tensions have grown worse. When things sour, they get worse. Unless it's sour cream. Or citrus. Or pickles.

I dunno I'm not a linguist.

There's gotta be some partial decrease in circulation, though, given that my fingers on the numb hand are usually colder than my non-numb hand when this sometimes happens to me.

Nobody is aborting 9 month old fetuses outside of exceptional medical emergencies, and denying women bodily autonomy is incredibly authoritarian.

Nobody is aborting 9-month-old fetuses at all. Unless that fetus is already dead or dying, 9 months is well past the point of viability.

24 weeks (5 months and some change) is when a fetus could viably survive outside the womb with medical intervention. 9 months is at the point of being fully developed, even if it is a couple weeks premature.

Almost all abortions happen at 10 weeks or less, well before the point of viability. Almost no abortions happen after 24 weeks. Definitely none happening at 9 months.

Wow, not only anticipating that there will be another 9 world wars, but that we will even reset our dating system again to start counting the years later.
