Any instance or app that lets you only view text posts? (lemm.ee)
 

I saw requests related to this on the github but Im not a coder so I don't really understand when/how thats implemented.

Im just looking for any app/instance/whatever that lets me set a filter to only show text posts people make. I like the forum aspect of lemmy more than the imageboard aspect but the memes usually bury any text only posts.

If there is a better community to ask this lmk

If CEOs and billionaires wanted the system to change they could change it. They don't. They like it this way. They like being "obligated" to pursue profit at all cost, they'd do it anyway.

Not all MLs are Russians. I'd be surprised if they make up even a small percentage of Lemmy MLs.

I don't believe anyone is getting killed because of a Lemmy comment. I doubt any Russians are paid to post here when they could hit a massively larger audience on a mainstream site.

I mean trophy wifes have been a thing for a long time - you've got actors like DeCaprio moving on to younger wives like clockwork.

Idk, it just seems like a stretch to assume the younger, poorer partner is the one in control. I'm not saying its for sure not the case but it wouldn't be my first guess.
