I use Kubuntu. I like the KDE desktop and I like a Debian based OS. If someone is going to make their software for Linux, it will almost certainly be available at least for Debian. If, say you want it for Arch, you need to wait for someone to put it in the AUR or build it yourself.

Why doesn't he just make them infinity percent? You know, like the way children use the idea of infinity.

I dare you. I double dare you. I dare you times 100. I dare you times infinity.

There are people that look at anything and think "how can I benefit from this?" Often that benefit is in the form of making money.

To take all the power away from all churches/religion, just get everyone to stop donating. Just have to figure out how to accomplish that.

Why not just cut to the chase, make a presidential order saying that everyone must buy a Tesla and if you don't (or can't) you will be punished?

So how can a middle class person with not a lot of money take advantage of this ... asking for a friend.

After installing Firefox 123.0 I ran a Mullvad Connection check https://mullvad.net/en/check and found I had a DNS leak. Turns out that Firefox had changed the settings under "DNS over HTTPS" so that my Mullvad DNS wasn't being used any more. After changing this setting to "off" in Firefox, the Mullvad check passed.

I am notified to comments made on post I've made, but how can I "subscribe" to a post that someone else created? I'd like to be able to easily see additional comments as they are made.

I can kind of do this from my saved posts, but that means going and looking to see if there are any new comments on each of those. That isn't very useful.

Are there shortcut keys for the web version of Lemmy? I was looking for things like, "next page" or inside a thread "go to next high level post", those kind of things? Also like, "collapse all posts" or "expand all".
