Elon is gutting USAID because they were investigating him over starlink. Elon is gutting the government agencies that oversee electric car regulations and safety regulations. Elon is going after the SEC for investigating him. Elon is using the government's databases to amass data to target political and business competitors and to further the far right propaganda campaigns as well as build list of deportees and political targets. Elon is gutting every TLA he can to ensure his taxes decrease and yours increase. Elon is tearing through decades of support and opportunity programs designed to help the less fortunate/less abled to live comfortably so he can live more comfortably.
Everything he's doing, is for his own benefit and personal gain, to the extreme detriment of the entire country. He's neither qualified nor elected. His actions should amount to treason, but they're being enabled by a traitorous, treasonous, felonious criminal, the shittiest president this country has ever seen.

I have a pickup from the pre-infotainment era, and I've considered how long I'd be able to keep it. Buying an old vehicle from the south an doing a restore is so much more attractive than anything that has touchscreen controls for hvac, media, etc. All of that shit is a massive safety hazard and a huge pain in the ass to use. It's all garbage. Give me knobs and buttons all day long.
The only way I'd buy one of these things is on a factory-delete custom order that removes the whole mess. You can still buy some fleet vehicles this way. The day I buy a car that has ads in its unremovable infotainment system will be a cold day in hell. I'll build a fucking car before buying one with ads.

I designed the case and the custom NASA glyphs for POS caps, so it has a completely flat console-like feel. It's Stocked with ChosFox Arctic Fox clickies (box whites on crack). I rewrote the firmware (didn't like the stock one) and added VIAL support as well as some different color modes. Also handmade the interconnect.
I loved the formfactor of the Sofle RBG, so I basically polished it up. I have 3 sets of these and a few spare boards just in case.

We usually adopt adult cats in need of a home, but our last adoption was 2 kitten brothers, and they have a special bond that the other cats don't. It's adorable, they still play together a lot even as young adults. We've always had at least 2, so no one is ever left alone when we are not here.
