Thanks for mentioning running costs, I was curious about that. How much more do you think the NUC is costing you compared to a Pi?

Afaik not fake. There is a whole follow-up where Homer allegedly also tried getting her internship back.

Finally someone mentions a product name. I am so sick of these "uh duuuh, there are better alternatives out there, hurhur" commenters who name not a single one.

I've been using it as my main keyboard for a while now. It does work well enough, but yes, lacks some features and I am also concerned why its not updated anymore.

Someone just posted that background and both your posts ended up close to each other in my feed. https://toad.work/post/1039482

Sure, but treatments of something that complex has to start somewhere. It seems to go in the right direction and upcoming treatments may build on that. I am not sure that anyone could have expected after many failures to just find the magical cure that completely cures Alzheimers.

Obtainium, which downloads from GitHub

Can happily say this seems fixed in the latest alpha version! Thanks!

Yeah, I got that warning too, what is up with that?

Yeah, I still have it working with the workaround of compiling it with my own API key, but decided not to update this any more. When it stops working like that I am out, not that I actually use it that much anymore.

I just added a bunch of community subscriptions via the webpage of my instance (lemmy.fmhy.ml) and they are visible there. But going to thunder they do not show up.

I logged out and back in, no change. I opened a different app I use, Voyager, there I see the communities as well. Is there a way to get them to update in thunder?

It has been a long time since I used Slide for Reddit, am I misremembering that there used to be a feature where you could swipe on posts and comments to up- and downvote them? Thunder, another android lemmy client, has that, I think Infinity for Reddit did too. Any plans to put that into Slide for Lemmy maybe?
