Reminder the past administration dismantled the public vaccination program, instated a half-assed version that allowed them to pocket the money and gave control to the military, during covid they didn't want to apply vaccines until they were forced to, but only wanted to apply sputnik and cansino, until they were forced again to buy real ones, up to date and not expired ones (and that only lasted a while).

The current president (during her time as governor) experimented using ivermectin without the patient's consent, she gave her full support during the expresident's antivaxx crusade, she (now president) swore to keep the current system going and refuses to buy more covid vaccines, they are still applying outdated and (most likely) expired ones (sputnik and abdala), if you want to get one up to date, you have to pay around 900MXN and it's hard to find (already got mine but sheesh...).
The official mandate is to not talk about covid again on the media and the sick ones to be told they have atypical pneumonia or something, but the goverment swears the covid is no more.

Mexican here, I just want to add something:

I think most people would say that the Mexican cartels are primarily criminals though. While they do kill people in ways that are intended to send a message, the message is generally "don't mess with our profits" rather than some political ideal.

This is rather naive, as they aren't just killing for profit or to protect their turf (the government usually goes with that narrative to not get involved, "just say the person had something illegal going and forget about it"), they actually control complete towns and obviously have people as slaves, they kill governors/politicians who might win elections or movements that go against their group and help gerrymandering during elections, among many other things.
They have a huge stake in politics to prevent things from getting better (specially during the past and current administration).

So... I'd say that from the moment they started to force the goverment at different levels, we could label them as terrorists.
In another time I might have hope of something finally being done after labeling them as such, but with president musk and the first lady trump... I can only expect the worse outcome.

And... How do we plan on stopping them? Our militia is controlled by the same narcos and so is the goverment (also the national guard barely has any armament or training).

The first thing that comes to mind is allowing the narcos to defend themselves while turning a blind eye to it and alerting them whenever it's possible.

Being real... We as a country are expendable to the world, the last president made sure to empty the arks and the current one was ordered to keep them empty and dismantle the constitution, if the USA decides to attack we are sitting ducks.

Funny thing is, he is indeed a socially awkward loser, but when shit hit the fan, he sided with women instead of starting a crusade against them, so I wouldn't say nobody liked him (and he landed a few dates on the show thanks to it).

if you don’t like listening to music then sure it is tedious.

Of course, you know me so so well.

Basically you want to be handed a list of stuff you are already going to like with no effort on your part, that isn’t really tedium, more laziness on your part.

See? That was 100% TOTALLY what my comment was about, glad to see your reading comprehension works so well you have no need to assume things to make them fit into your argument.

There are more ways to listen and discover music than ever before. In the past you had mainly radio or word of mouth and even then your exposure was extremely narrow based on the radio stations tastes. You now have so many other avenues for exploration and discovery.

There's no need to comment about this, since you already assumed and decided for me and you must be right because YOU MUST BE RIGHT, so I'll just leave you and your right assumptions to believe whatever you want so... gOoD vIbEs OnLy, amirite?
I'll just go to listen to music I like BECAUSE I DON'T LIKE LISTENING TO MUSIC.

Where can I find this generator or template?

Basically proving my point about it being tedious but trying to force some hopium into it.

I'm not going to pay for a service for ONE reason only, but yeah, I use the free version on Spotify for the weekly discovery and then I don't open it till the next week, sometimes there's some good shit... Most of the time there isn't.

Deezer used to have a nice discovery algorithm, then they shitted on it and then they made it fully pay to use so I haven't it since then.

I've even tried some websites recommended on lemmy, not just the usual services, but I've got a similar outcome anyway

While I agree, I'd like to object a little to this:

an inability to find things you like from a selection that is only ever expanding and becoming more diverse as time goes on.

It's extremely tedious to look for new music, since most algorithms seems to fixate on "oh you like this song? Here, let me suggest all the discography of the artist and these artists that are barely similar yet non or their songs sound like that one you liked" and radio stations only play what they get paid for.

If you like a specific genre it might be easier, but for someone who likes songs instead of genres or artists... It's a fucking pain.

Bough some new basic clothing to wear while I'm still unemployed, just enough to not look like I'm getting ready to end it all.
Also ordered the parts to build me a little Pinky Vape, will take a while to be sent here but I can wait.
