Reddit is not interested in having a "good" app (as viewed from the perspective of the users). Reddit wants an app that collects as much data, and generates as much revenue, as possible. Those goals are sometimes contradictory to what normal users want.

I usually dislike games that take that long because there usually is not a lot of interesting content. That said, Larian Studios did manage to keep me interested for a long time with Divinity 2, so I'm optimistic about those news.
