I work at an MSP and I have calls like this twice a month. I hate it

Hellhole is a great description. Especially the area I live in. I've found a couple of havens where I can socialize with like-minded people, so at least I have some kind of sanctuary from the madness that surrounds me. I have to drive 45 minutes to get to those places but that's whatever at this point for me.

Yeah. Doesn't make me feel any less rotten about the whole thing though.

You can make any bad thing funny if your humor is mostly making jokes about your own suffering. 🥲

I was being paid for it and the client I was doing work was paying for it, so I just played video games while on hold and my bosses praised me for being so dedicated lmao.

Spent 9 hours on the phone with Microsoft one day for a work thing. 5 of those were me on hold. Thank God I was wfh that day lmao

I use computers at work. Outside of work I use my phone, my Steamdeck, and my PS5 for my needs/entertainment. After fixing and working on computers all day, I don't wanna even see another computer after I leave the office. So I just don't own one. I borrow my grandma's laptop if I absolutely need to use a computer outside of work lol.

Can you schedule the same email to go out in intervals?

Can't believe I'd ever say Mike Pence said something based, but here we are.

No no no. You see, you couldn't have been with Luigi because he and I were horseback riding in Montana at that time.

Didn't get a better pic because she started being very bad for me. We're working on her manners, but it's slow-going. She's gotten away with a lot for a long time because nobody who interacted with her corrected her until I came along.

Chrome is completely blind, but that doesn't let that stop him. You can still see the mischief in his eyes. If you're in front of his stall, anything is fair game for him to grab.

He tore off the religious head covering of one of the riding instructors the other day. It was a disaster getting it back on properly without any men seeing her hair. I shielded her with my coat and Chrome just kept trying to take the covering.

Gonna be a long week without horse time.

Looking forward to going out next Friday more than usual because I get to take my sister with me. My parents want to go on a date and they asked that I keep my sister occupied that night. I asked if she wanted to go see the horses and she got so excited lol.

Lots of variables and work and owner permissions are going into it and if the trainer we are working with says she can't be ridden at any point, that's fine with me. Her comfort and happiness is the most important thing.

I've never been more motivated to get in shape before, though. I can't push myself too hard because I have a lot of health issues and I definitely can't push Sandy too hard either because she's old. Gonna take things slow and careful and hope for the best end result.

She then meowed right into my mic while I was in a work call.

She's a diva, but loves rolling in mud

Every day, all day, I have to lie to clients at work and tell them I'm good. I'm far from good and lying about it constantly is killing me.

I'm incredibly lonely and almost everything I usually enjoy feels like a goddamn chore.

Anyone else here feel like that? If so, how do y'all cope?

She was watching another horse show off for her. The other horse slipped in the snow and went crashing into the fence. He was fine and went right back to showing off.

We got some good exercise in while it was still warm. She did very well and was wonderfully behaved.

I have endometriosis and it seems like growths are coming back only two years after removal. My specialist is just going to do a hysterectomy to nip the issue in the bud.

I'm so happy that I could cry. I've wanted one for so long and I'm finally getting it!

I was so close to canceling my appointment today because I missed so much work already this week. So glad I didn't!
