IMHO it's a complex, temporary work around with a few issues.

Also vim > emacs

Raku is pretty damn Cool in c/programming@programming.dev

I'd be curious what you dislike about perl that is not fixed in raku.

What do people here like better: typed or untyped functional languages? in c/functional_programming@programming.dev

I'm in the typed camp. There is a reason every untyped language adds type annotations sooner or later
