Exactly, otherwise it's just, well, scrolling.

i bet it was bc of me
Right exactly. A "community" like /r/conservative can't really exist on the Fediverse in the same way because it's current function depends on outsiders to engage with.
I started off strongly disagreeing but you make a good point. I think I would honestly be "happy" to see something like /r/conservative move to a decentralized platform (though that might be a bad example because it's purpose is more of a propoganda-spreader than a true "community").
If we're getting upset by canonical inconsistencies I have to wonder what bothers you about the Discovery Klingons specifically when I see no mention of the significantly more comprehensive "reimagining" of the TMP (or later the TNG) Klingons? Just seems like an odd place to draw the line.
It was two years...
I'm just saying, the term "capitalism":
is defined by a number of basic constituent elements: private property, profit motive, capital accumulation, competitive markets, commodification, wage labor, and an emphasis on innovation and economic growth.
OP said that enshittification is "the MO of capitalism", and that just definitionally doesn't really make sense because enshittification (as defined by Cory Doctorow) happens not under capitalism, but what he calls "techno-feudalism". Where you see monopolies existing and antitrust laws not being enforced, you are not seeing capitalism because you are not seeing a competitive market.
Just to be safe you may want to copy important files to a cloud storage AND usb drive before formatting the drive.
Also don't overthink this and there is nothing wrong with Kubuntu, but Kinoite is going to be very similar and a little more resistant to n00b tinkering mistakes.
I agree, like I said I fully own that I was being pedantic over definitions.
great vid!
