I'm right there with ya! I didn't even know it was a thing until I just happened to be looking through the PS Plus catalog for something new on release day. Such a crazy coincidence.

Absolutely beautiful, wonderful game!

You're absolutely right, he needs a job or something. I'm still trying out things that keep him stimulated.

Dogs can be such tricky little devils! I'm glad your dog just found a new spot to chill instead of running away.

And yeah, definitely going to buy one of those security bars or something tomorrow.

That's 100% my plan. I'm going to get a bar or something to put behind the sliding door so it can't be opened when I'm gone.

This little asshole. He's way too smart for his own good!

I don't have many close people in life right now, but I have to share this with someone.

Tonight has been very stressful! In the middle of my work shift, I got a text that someone had my dogs at their house. The little buggers figured out how to unlock and open my sliding door and had a little adventure.

So, I get permission from work to go take them back home. I re-lock the sliding door and go back to work.

Then, only a few hours later, I get another text that they got out again! Thankfully, my job is very understanding and just let me take the rest of the day off. So, I go pick up the one dog, the other still missing. I'm also worried about my cats if the door was left open. They're indoor-only cats, so I was very concerned for their safety.

When I pull into the driveway to drop the one dog off, there's the second one! Just hanging out in the front yard!

Lots of relief! Now just the cats to worry about...

Luckily, they didn't go any farther than the backyard and came right inside when I called for them.

So, after a lot of stress and adventure, my fur family is back home, safe and sound, but I'm still kinda feeling a bit shook up. Whew. Thank god it's all over now.

Thanks for listening!

Oh the bird thing sounds cute!

I might have to check it out. I'm very impressed that you've used it for half a year! For an ADHD-app-jumper, consistently using the same thing for more than a month is very inspiring to me lol

How is Finch going as far as longevity? I feel like I've used about a million different types of habit trackers or whatever and I use them for about a week and then get annoyed at having to do it every day. I always want so badly to keep up with them because data and trends/patterns over time is just super interesting to me, but they just never work out 😞

Oh man, I've been in my little office cubicle for like 2 years now and have slowly added things to make it almost as cozy as home. Here's what I've done:

  • Rice bag

  • A drawer full of basic self-care, hygiene things. E.g., a brush, ibuprofen, on-the-go toothbrushes, hair ties, etc.

  • String lights on the walls

  • Tiny fake plants, so I don't have to worry about keeping them alive, but they're still cute

  • My favorite coffee mug

  • A box full of ADHD fidget toys (for mind-numbingly boring meetings)

  • A phone charger

  • A phone stand so I can watch TV sometimes

  • A small end table for snacks and food

  • I brought in a few small dishes from home, like a plate, bowl, silverware, etc.

  • A cozy blanket

  • SO MANY pictures of my fur babies and husband to hang on my cuby walls

I think that's most of it? It'll be a bitch when I eventually move to another job, but for now it's a pretty great set up 😁

Yay! You did the thing! That's awesome 😁

Agreed! It's definitely on my list of games to buy!

I finished HFW! Well, the main story anyway. I'm taking a break before finishing all the side quests and stuff. Started a new character in Hogwarts Legacy. Slytherin House this time!

What is Venba? Is it a pretty good couple's game?

I'm very much into Horizon Forbidden West right now. Probably will be for the foreseeable future because there are just so many things to do!
