I'm trying not to absolutely lose it and spiral into either rage or depression with everything that's going on, but things like this and a sitting member of Congress repeatedly dropping slurs is making that impossible. And this is obviously only the beginning of what they plan to do.

That's actually a myth (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_customer_is_always_right). Almost every "the full quote is actually..." is something made up decades if not centuries after the more widely known quote.

Does anyone find trackpads like this usable on small laptops?

Personally, I don't think they should make laptops bigger than 13", and the laptops 13" and smaller really benefit from the mouse buttons being above the trackpad rather than below, and those trackpoint nubs actually become really nice.
