It's ok, but it's possible some people will walk out thinking "the people are too stupid for democracy" like Mussolini, "we need to wipe out these fuckwit degenerates" like Old Testament God. But I guess it's good for venting and ranting with friends.
Probably a typo, but currency is *inflationary, cryptocurrency is *deflationary, that's why it's not for spending "now" (e.g. hodlbros)
It's ok, we were already trapped in our planet. There is no planet B..unless you don't mind living in high-tech caves :) on Earth they're called "vaults".
Alright, Wikipedia model (but for web art and enthusiast communities). Looks good, let's gooo :)
We need this for babies :)
Ok, I'd heard about it before, but I'll try it out and see if it really is what it looks like. I can't criticise it if I haven't really tested it myself.
Also: can neocities be shut down like geocities was?
We should have let him pilot his magic cave sub. That's where this timeline fucked up :/ he would have died a tragic hero, not lived long enough to out himself as a wanker.
I mean, we could have a community for building a geocities-style network of dumb-sites and personal pages linked to other people's pages or shared interest pages dedicated to non-chatgpt content. With its own ~~death~~ (autocorrect, wtf?) local search engine to bypass Google's SEO (like a sub-internet). Make the web alive again. We have had some Lemmy posts about favourite websites that made me think of that.
I'd settle for Elon selling all his companies and taking a 50-year holiday on a private island quietly enjoying his 200 billion and we never hear from his stupid ass again.
Hahaha, he's so deadpan, I love it :D
How much does one'a them cost these days, 40$?
They are there to remind you what trees grew up to before we started "managing" forests
