Do you know how confusing it is that Thomas the Tank Engine has the blue, two red, and two green characters and they are the same shade of paint? We read Thomas books and my kid gets confused because Emily drives past Thomas, then meets Thomas coming down the line, past Thomas number 3.
I'm gonna guess British shops only sold three colours of paint in 1984?

These tomatoes are such a mess! They grow so awkward, with long and pointed flesh. To top it all off they are sometimes so spicy that they are unpleasant even in a tomato sandwich. It's all gone wrong somewhere.

This berry is the first decent sized one from some plants that were on their death bed at a big box store a couple weeks ago. I brought them home and dropped them into my setup to see how they'd do, and clearly they're enjoying things. It was exceptionally sweet.
Spent some quality time with some plant friends this morning. Some living, some dead. All home grown and tasty.
Popping some lentil sprouts in place of mung beans thanks to @hamid@vegantheoryclub.org.
Hopefully in a couple days they'll be topping some rice or stir fry!
One of many shelving units I have around. Many of these plants were just transplanted before the picture and look it. Others are recovering rescues from stores. All in all I'm satisfied for today.
Technically the lemon is store bought, BUT, the apple mint is home grown from a plant I rescued from a local store. I'd never heard of it before but it's quickly turned into a favorite.
