I don’t think that’s enough reason to immediately dismiss wefwef and if your truly concerned just self host.
I’ve tried many alternatives but so far wefwef is #1

Yeah I understand. the good news is that it’s on their roadmap to make an android UI/UX. https://github.com/aeharding/wefwef
I don t think this is possible yet. I’ve heard that it’s Lemmy itself lacking this ability but something they want to do
There are a number of android apps in development and idk which is best right now. But I have been very impressed with this PWA

I can’t seem to figure out peertube. I’ve tried a few different platforms and made sure federation is turned on but I’m not seeing many videos over 1-3 views
Same. Anytime I get this I can scroll easily enough to see all comments. Wonder if it is a sizing thing.
Looks so nice. My gf will love this. I’m excited to start sharing her mass collection of house plants here as we settle into our new home.
