It's pretty hard in these times to accept that God (the stimulation architect) intervenes in reality. But if there is a God then surely they can intervene in reality. I'd say then that we can't really prove we are in a simulation but we can try more and more ways to petition God and each one builds evidence against there being one. Though I guess you could argue that God could be dead, not in the Nietzschean sense, but literally a corpse in a higher reality, we could be in an abandoned simulation.

I hate my bitch husband.

Don't you think it's much easier to leverage an ephemeral resource like coal or oil? What you frame as China acquiring leverage is better framed as a loss of leverage by the titans of oil. Time is going to cause that leverage to be lost eventually anyway, so maybe we should be planning for that? Or maybe we should let the people interested in short term gain draft the policy and complain that China is eating our cake.
The cider might be the problem.
This reminds me of an article in a mainstream newspaper I read about BYD, that claimed beating China might be more important than winning the war on climate change. Can't we be happy about technological progress, no matter where it comes from? Nationalism is regressive.
I don't like the focus on the culling of male chicks, sure it's terrible, but how we raise and exploit the hens is such a larger moral travesty that that should be the focus. We also shouldn't hope for hens to live for a decade. Currently existing hens who can be rescued sure, but the modern egg laying hen should not exist the same way certain dog breeds shouldn't exist, we have selected them for our pleasure rather than their own health and livelihood.

Our police can shoot us dead and people in most of the country will look the other way because law and order, especially if you're not white. America has been fascist for a long time, it didn't suddenly start under Trump.
Look at the BLM protests, they were huge, but the sentiment of half of the country was against them and there were many who fantasized about police or vigilantes making the streets run with blood. And in the end the thugs with badges are still well funded and well armed.
You're making the same mistake as many Americans themselves do and confusing Democrats in general and the left. I didn't think leftists were the ones who kicked Bernie to the curb. The left in America is very small but they do protest, do mutual aid, and form unions. You could argue they aren't doing enough and when things get bad enough it's time for terrorism, but that's big talk when you are sitting behind a computer.
My previous two phones were from OP and they were both great. I was tempted to get the OP13, mostly because of the battery, just couldn't justify spending that much on a smartphone at the moment when I already have one that works.
What's the Gen Z pride flag look like?
