Thank you, that's a very useful perspective. I'll keep it in mind.

It's easy to shit on neoliberalism.

Far harder to face the truth: we are already at war with Russia, while our security guarantor is pulling out.

I'm not sure what choices Macron made exactly, and he may well have protected established interests over the vulnerable.

But I do know that we, Free Europe, will have to make some hard choices and accept unpopular policy to be able to protect ourselves and our allies.

Hyprland is modern, flexible and widely used. I'm glad you can get it to work the way you want it to, it's probably a better experience than using a more niche window manager built for your usecase.

In my experience, every window manager will give you

little things I will need to fix / figure out.

That's why, even though I love tiling window managers, I ended up reverting from sway to a full Desktop Environment for my work laptop.

Give it a try and see how far you get. If I were to give WMs a try again, I would go with Hyprland for sure.

I am one of those players. It's not easy to keep my attention on the game, especially when playing online, but I do enjoy it a lot and am genuinely thankful for the game master making this possible.

If your players are not having fun, you'll notice soon enough: it's not easy to reserve a 3-hour timeslot regularly.

Ik vind dit ook vervelend om te zien, en dit valt zeker buiten mijn verwachtingen van /c/thenetherlands.

Pyright is the open source language server behind pylance and it works just fine in my neovim setup (in case you hadn't recognized the commands and the logo). There's also basedpyright if you have beef with pyright.

Protip: let someone else manage your neovim setup: just use lazyvim.org

Gotta love the Bundeswehr's honesty:

They were the only ones who kept their word:

And enjoyed a beautifully engineered robust attack jet until well into the 80s:

Plugins on a universal open source IDE are a better system than specialised proprietary IDEs (that also share "core" code but it's not open source).

Fight me.

Fair warning though: I know these

I fully understand and I'm not happy about it either. I'd love to hear it if there is a better option in the EU, but it seems like we'll have to rely on the Germans (for European autonomy and Lemmy).

FWIW, I think the feddit.org admins are handling the situation very well.
