You can manipulate which inventory expansion appears in the shop. The game picks the one that will free up the most space in your inventory, so just drop some stuff at boss level depth so the type of items you have most of are the targeted.

Normal weapon damage doesn't increase with surprise attacks. It's this way only with dirk and assassin blade. But yes, lunging through doors is still useful.

I don't see that written in the ability description

Lunge always hits, so there is no need to add a surprise attack

Okay, I will use direct messages with possible future bug reports. I just saw others doing it this way as well, didn't know what was better.

From my testing, after casting a scroll of anti-magic, the cleric is able to use a spell from his tome. Not directly, the tome will not open, but quick cast works normally, even though it shouldn't. (It shouldn't, right?)

Game version: V3.0.0. - BETA - 2.7

Wait, how exactly do you have 320 health?

[–] Drakokam665@lemmy.world 2 points 8 months ago (1 children)

That's not the problem. I am not talking about the scrolls themselves. I know they are random each game. When you open the description, their symbol doesn't show up. I wrote that, actually - i said "the arrow" or "the butterfly". I am talking about this:

In the journal, the sprites of scrools (also ring and potions) are rendering without their symbol (the arrow on upgrade, butterfly on transmutation, etc.) Is this intended?

The "guy" from wand of living earth?

[–] Drakokam665@lemmy.world 1 points 9 months ago

Oh, I actually didn't know that enemies don't drop loot when you are ascending... I ascended only a few times.

Just speculating, but maybe a gnoll shaman dropped it when you killed him without noticing ("you hear something die in a distance" in chat).

One more thing to consider are "on eat" effects... In some situations I'd rather have 3x8 turns of recharging and a bit of alchemical energy in place of healing (as a mage)

Maybe it takes a turn to update the floor, so it's actually aware of itself being water?

I am still trying 7 challenges with mage at the moment, and the start of this run was quite blessed with RNG...

  • WoD +2
  • SoU
  • Well of identify

All those things combined make for a not so pleasant experience for the early dungeon inhabitants.

Is the text "Suspicious outline killed you" intentional, if we know that it's an ebony mimic at the point of death?

I went with assassin and smoke bomb... Blinding enemies and appearing out of thin air behind them, instantly one-punching them to death was pretty fun 😊. Like some kind of a messed up superhero...
