So what? LinkedIn is mostly a conservative leaning audience. I don't see what's surprising or concerning here.

If we want to discuss pipelines and railways I think generally speaking going east to west is better than north/south; if you get my drift.

Every concern I have about those kind of projects falls under the umbrella of Bill C-5... not Calgary's national cowboy dressup photo booth.

TLDR: Author calls Carney a nightmare boss than proceeds to neurotically nitpick him like the worst micromanager in the multiverse. Literally no connection between their vapid observations and the baseless claims they allege.

The comments they made here are a clear indication of the lack of objectivity and frame of reference behind their writing. But it is an opinion and entitled to be so. It's just not a very good opinion.

It's astounding how accurate this is. I spent 2016 - 2024 playing this game with a friend that I eventually cut off.

He'd parrot something insane that he didn't fact check.

I'd point out the flaws.

He'd come back with his google search results.

I'd actually read them and point out half of them disagreed with him and the other half were verifiably trash.

He'd run away from the conversation and refuse to respond to anything political I say until he forgets; cuz he never learns.

The irony would be hilarious but I'd wager he'll make a great propaganda piece to keep the MAGA base in line. They'll blast his story to convince them that the lack of due process is a liberal lie.

Do you mean on c/AskMeAnything? or lemmy.ca in general? I'm new here.

Disagree. We gave up a tax we never collected to protect our dairy/poultry markets from inferior US products.

This is piss poor journalism and a perfect example of what nobody wants to pay for.

This is exactly how FPTP inevitably results in a 2-party system.

Obviously the LPC only views electoral reform as a cheap trick to garner votes.

Maybe the NDP can come back with such a promise?

Unless the LPC noticeably improves peoples lives in the next 12 months we're probably going to see another election. Who knows what'll happen then.
