It's still oddly favorable for them to call it a "cost cutting" team. Call it "Musk's team." Or "DOGE." Absolutely no reason for them to talk it up like that in the headline.

So what? AI can and will say just about anything unless it's specifically altered not to. This story is just "the devs haven't yet bothered censoring output about Musk." There are so many legit reasons to dislike Musk and this story is basically "a d20 got rolled and it hit a 20!" Fuck off with this.

Obviously she's holding a gun in her left hand and he's begging for his life

Oh yeah it's a super common myth, but it's about as real as alpha wolves or lemmings jumping off cliffs

Adult cats totally meow at each other. Plenty of YouTube videos of colony cats fitted with cameras where they're doing it. Heck, earlier today there was an upvoted post of a cat meowing at another because it wanted to be groomed

I think the Yes Man ending is better for the NCR than literally siding with them, assuming the courier is open to allying with them. If their farmers get to keep their land around the strip and free transit is allowed to companies like the Crimson Caravan and the Mojave Express, except security is now provided by an endless army of securitrons instead of a massive, bored, slowly degenerating contingent of NCR troops, the NCR is freed up to secure its own borders and prevent any factions like the Legion from becoming a problem again. The only price that would need to be paid is that some of the food from those farms goes to feeding the strip. Plus the strip gets more visitors thanks to trade from the NCR.

Not sure how long that would last considering what happened to the NCR in the TV show, but disregarding that it seems to me like it'd be massively beneficial to both sides.

Doesn't even have to be your instance, just whatever instance the community is on.

It's not fascist to oppose intolerance. You are attacking people's core identities; their right to exist. It's not an attack on you when people defend themselves from you. We're not discussing our favorite movies here. Some other examples of harmful lies:

"People with dark skin are dumb"

"Women are too emotional to make their own decisions"

"Poor people don't deserve clean air, water and food"

"Being queer is a mental disorder"

"Many children grow out of gender identity disorder once they reach a certain age" (seriously, this is totally made up. Less than 5% of people do this and many of those only detransition because of the hate they encounter)

Climate change is hotly contested too. That doesn't mean the people contesting it have any valid points. People who are actually invested in evidence-based research, not those trying to cobble together post-hoc justification for their fear, have a general consensus that giving children a basic understanding of what is and isn't sexually appropriate makes them much safer. And if a child asks whether it's okay to like either gender, it's easy to simply answer "yes."

When that opinion is deeply harmful, is directly contrary to all scientific evidence, results in actual groomers (not trans people) being able to take advantage of ignorance, and is generally used by bigots as a wedge to repress sexual education well beyond teen years--yeah this is the response you get

Holy shit. I had been thinking about upgrading while prices were still relatively low but have been trying to convince myself my 6700xt is fine and will hold up... Guess that window is closed now lol

Valve has made attempts to take down projects that follow those rules. TF2Classic is the example that comes to my mind since it's the main one I've played, but I know there are several others. In TF2C's case, they tried contacting Valve to find out why they'd been hit with a C&D, never heard back, and eventually quietly resumed development.

Some kind of miscommunication between legal and the devs? Maybe internal drama? Maybe they didn't really pay attention and still aren't aware TF2C is back up? Who knows. Still happened tho.
