You basically have to not run afoul of the mods, which everyone knows has become more and more difficult as time goes on. You can fart in the safety of your own home and one of the mods will get offended and ban you.
I just got a temp ban because one of the mods on a popular sub will not tolerate the lightest of criticisms of their preferred posters. I'm not exaggerating, it's literally in their rules. Gives me a perfect excuse though honestly, I'm sick of Reddit but it's hard to develop new habits for scrolling.
