It does, D-input is in its own mode that you have to choose. There's X-input, Switch Mode, Mac mode, and D-Input. Per the manual the Android connectivity uses D-Input. This is for the Pro 2 model though, I'm not sure about the 1st one (though I don't think the old model is sold anymore anyways).

That's the manual for Pro 2. Not Ultimate.
The official page doesn't mention Android as a compatible OS to work on.
Oh sorry, I forgot they're different. The 8bitdo naming scheme is a little dumb.
Yeah the Ultimate controller doesn't have a D-input mode, so you'll have to get the Pro 2 if you're interested in playing on Android. I don't know if there's X-Input --> D-Input software on Android but it sounds like it would be a hassle.

Firmware v2.00 1. Added the Bluetooth connection for Dinput mode.
Does that mean it supports Android on Bluetooth better now?
firmware update log for the ultimate Bluetooth was not the same.
That's the 2.4ghz one, not the bluetooth one. That controller uses a USB receiver in order to work, so I don't think it'll work on Android.

I have the 8BitDo Pro 2 and I just paired it to my Pixel 7 Pro. I don't have any games to test with it right now.
I realize it's not the model you asked about, but I thought I'd pass that along.
