I just updated libreELEC which updated Kodi to a version that no longer supports python 2. As such, the subtitles add-on I was using no longer works.

Which add-on are people using to get subtitles?

And ideally, is there something that automatically downloads subtitles as soon as I play a show/movie?

You mentioned the add-on you were using no longer works, but didn't say which one that was.

I use the a4ksubtitles add-on. It does use python, but I'm not sure if it's using v2 or v3.
