Adoption Certificate for Nellie, the Daily Thread numbat (with thanks to @Catfish)
Seeking recommendations for an ironing board and cover. It's for mum, she doesn't want anything ever, but she wants this, and she's about to buy a shit one to use up a gift card. She loves ironing. High budget.
buy a wide one that also has an add on for sleeves and shoulders , get an extra thick liner
Go to Myer or David Jones etc. - Myer has a homewares section. High end stock and prices to match. Or go to Spotlight/Lincraft for next level down stuff. Probably too late to go on-line for a really high quality professional one.
Bunnings and Howard's Storage World have ironing boards. You can't go wrong with a Hills.
Does she want mine? I bought it when I moved in here in 2018 and haven't used it once lol
Oooo. I hear rumbling.
Loving the cool change and breeze. Now all I need is to sleep through the night 🤞
I finally got some good news on the health insurance front - the Transfer Certificate finally arrived, and even though I haven't had extras for a few years they waived the waiting periods for that as well as for the hospital cover.
Has anyone else noticed brown beetles at night time that have a low pitch loud buzz when they fly? Saw one a couple nights ago and then a few more again tonight. Haven’t seen them before. Friend or foe?
Wondering if “spice up your life” had had sudden jump in streams since Sunday?
I loved the fact they just dedicated the three/four mins to let Neil Patrick Harris just do his thing in a one hour special. Glorious
Seeking suggestions for a cafe, open Saturday afternoons till 5pm or later, around Greensborough or surrounding suburbs.
Catching up with bestie and wanna take her somewhere noice without deafening music but good coffee. Focus here is being able to talk freely and hear each other.
Every place I've checked so far closes at 2 or 3pm. And this is just a coffee (& maybe cake) catch up.
Any and all suggestions welcome. Thanks.
Clay Oven will be open and they have a coffee machine. I don't know how good the coffee is, I only ever bought pizza there. That's the sort of place you want though: Somewhere Italian that does dinners.
At 5pm, you'll be early enough that they probably won't mind you taking up a table without buying dinner.
dear brownouts:
feck off, there's fuck all electrical activity here rn
